Show Controvento – Anthologies of short story games vol. 2

From the annual competition Corti in gioco comes the Anthologies of short story games, small condensed universes created to immerse you in the fantastic world of playbooks! A series with attention to detail and effectively portrayed by our talented illustrators, one page after another, to provide you with a product of the highest quality.

Every year you can participate in the contest organized by GateOnGames, which enhances aspiring authors and promotes Italian interactive literature. The initiative takes inspiration from “I Corti di LGL,” a contest created by Librogame’s Land and its community. For more information and a chance to enter the contest, keep an eye on this page.

The theme of this second collection is “diversity”! You will live as a foreigner in the Perugia of 1437; investigate the mysterious death of a girl isolated from society; experience firsthand the risks of a complicated evening as a girl; go through a bad experience because of your sexual orientation; experience a critical situation together with a paralyzed boy; face a mountain trail as a blind person.

Controvento

In its second edition in 2023, the participating stories were evaluated by a panel of judges consisting of Christian Giove (game designer and editorial curator of the series), Francesco Di Lazzaro (founder of LibroGame's Land and a longtime writer in the industry, with numerous titles behind him), Matteo Boca ( playbooks reviewer, game designer and content creator) and Veronica Wu (content creator who spreads her passion for playbooks with live readings).
